Abstract

This method links the background material with the circumstances that most influence it. It is not the study of an isolated fact, but allows for a general overview of the object of our research and therefore gives a greater understanding of the whole. This method can be used for any scientific research topic. The goals proposed for this seminar by the research method were studied and solved almost completely. However, some insurmountable barriers were found, such as access to the archives of the Augustinians, which are located in Santiago. Due to internal problems in their order of hermits, I was not allowed access to them, but these facts were investigated based on second-hand documents. There is also one point about which it was not possible to find data during the development of the building. This refers to the last transformation, of which it was not possible to determine the author or the exact date. It should also be clarified that since the church was not preserved, all the reconstructions were based on the collection of data and photos.
